The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 has been out of stock on DJI‘s website for some time now, hinting at a possible successor in the works. Today we have been assured the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 is coming thanks to an FCC listing made public sharing insight to what the new gimbal will look like.
The Osmo Mobile 3 is now equipped with Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0, new dimensions of 286x126x98mm making it larger than the Osmo Mobile 2, the ability to fold down to almost half its height and only weighing 405g. The new Osmo Mobile 3 also allows for thicker and wider phones. The gimbal’s motors are now able to roll and tilt further supporting a wider range of camera moves.
